Only 8% of Ingush children attend nurseries

Ingushetia is working on opening more nurseries. There are nurseries and pre-schools for only 8% of children aged under 7, RIA Novosti cites Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov.

He said that there are 50,000 children aged under 7. Pre-schools have only 2220 seats in 29 centers for 4024 children. Four new nurseries will open in the near future. The deficit is over 30,000 seats.

One of the ways to solve the problem is quick-mounting nursery buildings. It takes less time for construction at lower costs. The project could be realized with co-financing, Yevkurov says.
