South Ossetia closes Trans-Caucasus Highway

The South Ossetian section of the Trans-Caucasus Highway has been closed due to an avalanche at the Vanel Village, Res reports.

Specialists and equipment have been mobilized to clear the path. They say that the road should open in about an hour. North Ossetia closed the highway as well to avoid traffic jams.
