Russian president to meet Kofi Annan

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will meet UN and Arab League envoy to Syria Kofi Annan, Interfax cites the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying.

"We pay special attention to the coming visit of Kofi Annan," the statement reads.
