The Free Syrian Army (FSA) is forming a single command center, RIA Novosti cites Colonel Riyad Assad as saying.

Part of the army is on the territory of Turkey and border areas. Three military structures are to unite.

The FSA has 10 generals and 19 colonels. Turkey has about 18,000 Syrian refugees. They may exceed 100,000 in the future.

Turkey closed its embassy in Damascus today. The Turkish Foreign Ministry urged 20,000 Turks in Syria to leave the state.

The UN says over 8,000 people died in the continuing disorders of Syria. Syrian authorities say over 2,000 law enforcers died in clashes with well-armed militants.
