Military operation against Iran would lead to a catastophe - expert

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and US President Barack Obama have recently met in Seoul. The presidents discussed the Iranian crisis and agreed that further talks are necessary.

Despite President Obama's attempts to solve the problem peacefully, American experts are considering a possible military way out of the problem.

Andrei Areshev, deputy head of the Strategic Research Center, believes that even Iran's enemies understand that such an operation would lead to a catastrophe.

However, the expert underlined that such a scenario is unlikely.
