Georgia to complete talks on free trade with EU by 2014
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgia will need between 18 months and 2 years to fully utilise the free trade regime with the European Union, the head of the Georgian delegation, Deputy Foreign Minister Tornike Gordadze, told media before talks between the EU and Georgia in Tbilisi, Trend reports.
Tbilisi will host the first round of formal talks on free trade between Georgia and the EU on March 27-28. Zones of extensive and comprehensive free trade will be the main theme.
Gordadze said that Georgia will get a free trade system with the EU which in turn will be an impetus for the development of the country's economy.
