US marines on duty in Gulf

A group of US marine ships with a helicopter carrier are now on duty at the Norfolk Base (State Virginia) at the Gulf, RIA Novosti reports.

The ships have a battalion of troops. They will asisst the Fifth and Sixth Fleets in the Gulf and the Arabian Sea.
