EC Commissioner Fule to visit Baku

Stefan Fule, European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy, will visit Azerbaijan on April 2-3, 1news.az reports.

The official will present a report at the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in Baku. He will meet Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Speaker of Parliament Oktay Asadov, President Ilham Aliyev. The sides will discuss bilateral cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan within the framework of the European Neighbourhood Policy and Eastern Partnership.

Fule also plans meetings with opposition, publicity and human rights activists.
