Azerbaijan maintains 80-90% of Georgia’s energy security, Azerbaijani Minister for Industry and Energy Natik Aliyev said, 1news reports.

Azerbaijan’s energy role in the region may rise 2 or 3-fold, the minister says. He also noted that Azerbaijan is more influencial in energy security of Turkey. Azerbaijan will increase gas supplies for Turkey within the framework of the second stage of Shah Deniz development.
