Azerbaijan’s SOCAR will not sell TANAP share to Turkey’s BOTAS
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkey and Azerbaijan signed a memorandum on TANAP. 80% share of the project belongs to Azerbaijan’s SOCAR and 20% to Turkey’s BOTAS, 1news.az cites SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev as saying.
He said that information on Turkey planning to increase its share is false. SOCAR offered to sell part of its share to foreign companies. Abdullayev added that BP and Statoil have filed bids for shares. Ukraine wants a part in the project, he says.
According to Abdullayev, SOCAR wants to remain the manager of the pipeline.
