Armenian PM does not want to join Customs Union

The Customs Union is pointless for Armenia, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said, Kommersant reports.

The PM noted that there are no barriers in integration processes within the EurAsEC and CIS. Armenia is an active part of both structures.

Sargsyan reminded that there are no examples of states without borders becoming full-fledged members of the Customs Union. The goal is to exchange goods without custom inspection, he says. The Customs Union has no instruments Armenia could use for economy.
