Russia may be interested in Armenia's proposal to deploy a Russian radar system on its territory, Vladimir Yevseyev, the head of the Russian Center for Social and Political Research, told VK.

The idea was expressed by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisyan.

The remarks came after Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's statement concerning US missile defense system deployment in Europe. The Minister said that Russia won't share information about its radar station in Azerbaijan with the US in the framework of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of defense.
