Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office reports on Guba incident

The Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office has reported on the incident at Guba, Trend reports.

The report says that the events in Guba on March 1 underwent a full investigation. The police found materials on 30 suspects. 12 of them have been arrested, 18 cannot leave the country.

The document says that Zaur Guliyev, Editor-in-Chief of the Khayal TV and Radio Company, and its Executive Director Vugar Gonagov were arrested for violation of public order. An intensive investigation continues.

The police have recommended media and NGOs to acknowledge their responsibility for giving true information and urged them to avoid false sensationalism.
