New head of Chechnya’s Shalinsky District approved

Lawmakers of the Shalinsky District of Chechnya have approved Turpal-Ali Ibragimov as head of the local municipality, introduced by Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov.

Ibragimov said that his will stress efforts on development of education, healthcare, medicine and road infrastructure. He pointed out such priority as return of agricultural lands distributed illegally, Kadyrov’s press service reports.

Turpal-Ali Ibragimov used to be the Shali City Mayor.
