Minbashi residents demand compensation for homes lost during flood

Residents of the village of Minbashi in Azerbaijan demand compensation for their homes lost in a flood in 2010, Turan reports.

The head of the Sabirabad District's administration, Nazim Ismailov, visited the village today in order to meet with victims.

Residents of the village accused local officials Beylyar Iskenderov and Rukhull Godzhayev of corruption and waste and demanded their arrest.

Mr. Ismailov listened to the people and promised to the settle the matter.
