Turkish PM proposes Silk Road Railway project

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has met Chinese businessmen and proposed the construction of the Silk Road Railway to connect Turkey and China, Trend reports.

Erdogan says that the project will boost the economy, trade turnover, and the formation of an advanced network of trade and transit links between Southern and Middle Asia and Europe. 28 states may take part in the project. The transport line will total 81,000 km.
