Most Georgian visitors come from Azerbaijan

677,278 people visited Georgia in Q1 2012, exceeding indicators of the same period in 2011 by 39%, Business Georgia reports.

297,414 Europeans (excluding CIS) visited Georgia in January-March 2012, exceeding the previous year’s period by 75%.

351,064 CIS visitors arrived, exceeding the previous period by 18%.

6,012 US visitors arrived (+32%), 20,736 Asian visitors (+75%), 1,683 Africans (+100%), 369 from other states (+34%).

Most visitors came from Azerbaijan, 175,171, exceeding the previous year’s figure by 26%.
