Invalid names in Armenian electoral lists

Investigators ordered by the Armenian Justice Ministry to check registry offices in Yerevan have found 696 names of dead people in electoral lists, News Armenia reports.

Lists with names of the 696 people who died between 2003 and April 1, 2010, were not written off the population registry. The passport and visa department of the Armenian police will study the problem.

Justice Minister Grayr Tovmasyan ordered inspection of registry offices in Yerevan.
