Georgian Military Road opens

The Georgian Military Road was closed on April 15 due to a collapse at the Kazbegi Village in Georgia. Traffic was stopped at the Vladikavkaz section and the Lars Village.
The Georgian Road Department said that traffic is still restricted for heavy trucks and buses capable of carrying over 30 passengers.
Drivers and passengers of trucks and buses have spent 3 nights in cars at Kazbegi.
