Owners of Ukraina Hotel to spend $100 million on local park

The owners of the Ukraina Hotel in Moscow - businessmen Zarakh Iliyev and God Nisanov - will invest $100 million in sprucing up the territory next to the hotel. A parking lot will be built with 800 spots, PRIME reports.

The local park will be modeled on European standards. It will be landscaped, and pavements, benches and lighting will be built.

The Monument of Taras Shevchenko will be restored.

Work is planned to be completed by November 2012.
