Sudan declares war on South Sudan

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has declared war on South Sudan and promised to crush the government of Juba, Gazeta.ru reports.

The Sudanese president said in Khartoum that their goal is to free people of South Sudan. He noted that giving the People’s Liberation Movement of Sudan to rule was a big mistake that will be fixed.

South Sudan became independent in July 2011 after a long conflict with Khartoum.
