Police officer killed in Dagestan - 3

One police officer died and one was injured during a clash with militants in the Tsumadinsky District of Dagestan, RIA Dagestan reports.

The police encountered a group of militants at about 4 pm. Senior Sergeant Gasan Osmanov was killed, a warrant officer was injured.

Additional forces arrived to the area to search for the militants.
