Iran takes first place among steel producers in Middle East

The head of the Iranian National Steel company Mohammed Reze Nadjmossadat announced recently that this sector of the Iranian industry has increased during the last five years, Iran news reports. He noted that an important factor of its development has become using of the Iranian technologies. 
Steel production level in 2009 increased by 9.1%, showing the best results among steel producers in the Middle East. It is expected that in the next 3-4 years the production rate will increase, as Iran constructs new plants.
