Churkin praises Russian nuclear security

Russian permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin assured the Security Council on Thursday that Russian nuclear facilities and materials are not a threat, RIA Novosti reports.

Russia is modernizing physical and technical security of its nuclear facilities regularly. The state continues fulfillment of international agreements on nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation and security, Churkin emphasizes.
