Russia to upgrade visa agreement with EU

Moscow expects to modernize the agreement on simplification of the visa regime with the European Union, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after a meeting with his Italian counterpart, RIA Novosti reports.

Lavrov called Russian-EU partnership strategic and expressed interest in full-fledged development of relations.

Earlier reports said that Russia may manage to modernize the documents by the Russian-EU summit this summer.
