Turkey to help Adjara build own free industry zone

The Turkish Trade and Industry Chamber and the Exchange Federation will assist Adjara in building a free industrial zone, Business Georgia reports.

Vice President of the TIC of Adjara Tamaz Savadze arrived in Ankara and met President of the Turkish TIC and Exchange Federation Rifat Hisarjicoglu. The latter promised to visit Batumi and view business opportunities.

Georgia proposed a simplified procedure for licensing of products in Turkey. The sides discussed border trade and construction of a hospital in Batumi.
