United States and Georgia plan to increase turnover

Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri has been to the United States on a working visit. During her visit Gilauri met with the leadership of the International Trade Organization and the "Millennium Challenge" Corporation. The sides discussed a new contract worth $100-150 million, Business Georgia reports.
Investment will be directed at education. A part of this sum will be used to renovate schools, another part will be spent on the development of a new American university, where students can obtain US diplomas. In late May, Georgian-US talks on increasing trade are beginning.
During her visit, Nika Gilauri also met with the director of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde. The sides discussed prospects of cooperation. Gilauri said that Lagarde noted that the Georgia's economy is one of the healthiest in the world.
