US imposes new sanctions against Iran

Washington has announced a widening list of sanctions against Iran and expressed concern about Iran's nuclear ambitions.

US President Barack Obama stated that these sanctions are "the most serious and comprehensive the Iranian authorities have been faced with", Interfax reports.
