Dagestani officials to visit Azerbaijan

A delegation of Dagestan, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Rizvan Gazimagomedov, will visit Azerbaijan on April 25-28, Trend reports.

The delegation will develop agreements reached at a Russian-Azerbaijani business forum held in Makhachkala in November 2011. It will improve and activate economic ties between Dagestan and Azerbaijan.

Meetings are planned with Vice Premier Yagub Eyubov, Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development Shakhin Mustafayev. A business forum is planned with attendance of business officials from the Sumgayit technical park, a visit to Greentech greenhouse of Azersun, facilities of the Tourism Complex, a piano factory and a canned food factory in Gilan.

The Dagestani delegation consists of Minister for Economy Marat Iliasov, Minister for Agriculture Satmar Amirov, Dagestani representative to Baku Magomed Kurbanov, Chairman of the Transport Committee Sayid Sayidov, head of the Agency for Tourism Anatoly Karibov, head of the Agency for Investment and Foreign Economic Links Ali Nurmagomedov and others. Media officials are assisting the delegation.
