Russia admits Iran nuclear threat real

Russia has finally admitted that the Iranian nuclear threat is real, Ekho Moskvy reports on Tuesday.

The head of the Russian General Staff, General Nikolay Makarov, told Russia Today that Russian military experts concluded the Iranian nuclear threat is real.

There is the possibility that Iran may produce nuclear weapons and this may pose a specific threat to both Russia and the EU, General Makarov said, so admitting that the construction of a European missile defense shield is necessary.
