Medvedev to hold session of Skolkovo guardian council at Bauman MSTU

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will hold a session of the Skolkovo innovation center’s guardian council, Interfax reports.

The session will be held at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Foreign business experts are welcome to attend.

President of the Skolkovo Fund Victor Vekselberg will present a report on achievements and plans. Special attention will be paid to the Skolkovo Institute for Science and Technologies, Director of the Department for Foreign Communications Alexander Chernov said.

President of the Skolkovo Institute Edward Crowley will be at the council.

The institute was based on Skolkovo and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It will have 15 research centers teaching 1200 students, about 400 post-graduates and will have about half a thousand teachers. The first classes will start for masters in autumn 2012.

An exhibition will be organized for the guardian council to present 18 Skolkovo projects.
