Russian representative to NATO dismissed

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree dismissing Russian representative to NATO Dmitry Rogozin, Interfax reports.

Rogozin will continue supervision of the inter-department working group at the Russian Presidential Administration for cooperation in missile defenses with NATO.

Medvedev scrapped the decree on the president’s representative for cooperation with NATO in missile defenses on February 18, 2011.

Negotiations with partners on the topic will be carried out by the Russian Foreign Ministry and Defense Ministry.
