Ruslan Tlyunyayev, a leader of Adyge Khase, said that the flag is the symbol of the republic. Celebrations in Maikop will start at 6 pm with a rally to Labinsk. Vehicles with flags will drive through the Streets of Khakurate, Dimitrov, Yunnatov, Proletarskaya and arrive to the Maikop Central Square.

The flag has various meanings. Some say that the 12 starts resemble 12 subethnicities of Cherkessia, or 12 administrative districts. The 3 crossing arrives in the warrior’s quiver symbolize unity and peaceful intensions.
