Turks, Georgians most common foreign workers in Azerbaijan

Turkey and Georgia have become the main suppliers of foreign labour for Azerbaijan, ABC.az reports.

The State Social Protection Fund (DSMF) of Azerbaijan said that 12,297 foreign workers from 92 states were registered, according to April 1.

7149 of them were Turks, 1483 were Georgians, 653 were Russians. 412 foreign workers came from Iran, 279 from India, 251 from China, 152 from the UK, 148 from Uzbekistan, 128 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 107 from Pakistan, 101 from Germany, 100 from Ukraine, 99 from the Philippines, 83 from Turkmenistan, 80 from Malaysia, 73 from Italy, 71 from Kazakhstan and 67 from the US.
