Iran to spend $15,000 per km of border

Iran plans to spend over $81 million on enforcing state borders, General Ahmadi Mugaddam said, Trend reports.

The general met border guards of Gasrigir and noted that the borders were well-protected. Further enforcement of borders will prevent smuggling of fuel and drugs.

Iranian border is about 5440 km long.
