Lithuanian parliament’s delegation to visit Georgia

A delegation of committee of public administration and local self-government of the Lithuanian Seimas (parliament) will arrive in Tbilisi on April 30. During a two-day visit guests will take part in the Georgian-Lithuanian Forum on local self-government, Trend reports.

The delegation is also expected to meet with chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze, chairman of the parliamentary committee on local self-government and mountainous regions Vakhtang Balavadze and other members of parliament.

The same day, the committees of the highest legislative bodies of the two countries will sign a memorandum of cooperation.

Meetings of the Lithuanian delegation are scheduled at the residence of the Ambassador of Lithuania to Georgia, in the office of the National Association of local self-government, with Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili.

At the end of the visit a delegation of the Lithuanian parliamentarians will visit Gori and will meet with the Governor of Shida Kartli Giorgi Tatishvili.
