Spartak Nalchik FC can't stay in Russian premier league

Spartak Nalchik FC has lost all chances of staying in the Russian premier league after the 41st round match vs Samara’s Krylya Sovetov in Nalchik on Friday. The match ended 0:0, RIA Novosti reports.

The football club has 31 points, but is 10 points behind the score needed to take 14th position, currently held by Volga FC. Three games are left.

Spartak Nalchik FC came second in the first division in 2006. It was ninth in the first season and had its best results in the premier league, taking sixth position at the Russian Championship of 2010.

Its Chief Coach Yuri Krasnozhan left the club for Moscow’s Lokomotiv FC. He was replaced by Vladimir Eshtrekov, who was switched with Sergey Tashuyev during the Championship of 2011-2012. Tashuyev resigned in early April, temporarily replaced by Timur Shipshev.
