Deputy commander of Russian interior forces dies in car accident

General-Major Mikhail Voznesensky, 50-year-old Deputy Commander of the North Caucasus Regional Headquarters of the Interior Forces of the Russian Interior Ministry, has died in a car accident in the Voronezh Region, Stavropoliye reports.

The general crashed into a truck on the 779th km of the M4 Moscow – Rostov-on-Don Highway in the Voronezh Region at about 11 pm on May 1. The police are investigating the site.
