Armenian CEC head to meet CIS monitoring authorities

Tigran Mukuchyan, Chairman of the Armenian Central Electoral Commission, has met Vladimir Garkun, head of the CIS monitoring mission, and Yevgeny Sloboda, head of the mission’s headquarters, Armenia Today reports.

Garkun noted the importance of peace during campaigning, fair conditions for all candidates and clear operation of electoral commissions.

Mukuchyan presented information on preparations for elections and activities needed for the polls.
