Iran, North Korea have no long-range ballistic missiles

Only official nuclear states have ballistic missiles with a range of over 5,500 km, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian General Staff Igor Sergun said in Moscow today, RIA Novosti reports.

Analyses show that only Israel, India, Iran, North Korea and Pakistan have medium-range ballistic missiles. Sergun noted that the risk of nuclear warfare has dropped in the last 25 years. The number of intercontinental ballistic missiles was reduced by 75%, medium-range missiles by 80%.
