Tkachyov to make first visit to Abkhazia as special Russian envoy

Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachyov will make his first visit to Abkhazia on May 4 as a Special Russian Envoy of President Dmitry Medvedev, Yuga.ru reports.

The governor is expected to meet Abkhaz President Alexander Ankvab to discuss cooperation and development of the republic.

Alexander Tkachyov was appointed by Dmitry Medvedev on March 16.
