Gold processing factory to open in Gedabeysky District of Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has started construction of a new gold processing factory, Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources Nowruz Guliyev told the Caspian Economic Integration Business Club (CEIBC), 1news.az reports.
The factory is being constructed in the Gedabeysky District. Gold is sent for refinement to Switzerland. The factory will allow refinement to be carried out in Azerbaijan.
The facility is being constructed by a foreign company and will soon be launched. New gold deposits were found at the Chovdar-Gedabeysky District and the Nakhchivan Autonomy, the deputy minister adds.
