Armenian Constitutional court rejects appeal by 28 lawmakers

Armenia’s Constitutional Court has rejected an appeal by 28 lawmakers on Saturday, News.am reports. The lawmakers were demanding that the Constitutional Court declare the Electoral Code article prohibiting the publication of lists signed by voters as unconstitutional. According to the law, the lists signed by the voters are not to be published.

The court explained that changes in the law before the elections might be misunderstood.

The decision is final.
