Afghanistan may become observer, Turkey – partner of dialogue at SCO Council of Foreign Ministers

SCO foreign ministers plan to grant Afghanistan the status of an observer and Turkey the status of a partner for dialogue at the SCO meeting, Russian Acting Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday, Trend reports.

The minister added that India’s and Pakistan’s membership in the SCO is still an issue for discussions.
