The Georgian Ministry for Regional Development and Infrastructure and the European Investment Bank will sign a loan and grant deal on financing construction of the Samtredia-Grigoleti-Choloki Highway of Western Georgia on Friday, Trend reports.

Signatures will be put by Minister Ramaz Nikolaishvili and Vice-President of the EIB Wilhelm Molterer.

The sides had a meeting earlier to discuss joint projects and prospects. They noted that 26 Georgian cities and villages are successfully realizing plumbing projects financed by the EIB. Other projects, including the ones for development of road infrastructure, are planned, Nikolaishvili said.
