Russia is always ready to help South Ossetia - Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin expects stabilization in South Ossetia and assures Russia's support at any time, RIA Novosti reports.

Putin met South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov and expressed hopes that the situation would improve. Russia has always assisted the republic and will support economic and social restoration.

Tibilov congratulated Putin on winning the elections. He reminded that over 92% of voters cast their ballots for Putin.

The South Ossetian president expressed joy to see that one of Putin's first decrees of foreign policy concerned South Ossetia.
