Caucasus economic forum to be held in autumn 2011
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe vice -premier and presidential representative in the North Caucasus Federal District, Alexander Khloponin, believes that security in the region has changed for the better already and administrative obstacles to implementation of investment projects can be removed soon.
"I think that security issues are being successfully resolved, even if we still hear news about terrorist acts and negative events in general, I'm sure that we will change the situation," - Khloponin said in an interview to the TV channel Rossiya-24, RIA Novosti reports.
Speaking about administrative obstacles to implementation of various investment projects, he said that the state should share some part of the risks with the investors by granting preferences and privileges. "These steps will attract not only Russian, but foreign investors as well"," he believes.
The first session of the Caucasus economic forum will be held in autumn 2011, added Khloponin. The agenda of the forum is currently being drafted.
