Iranian national Majid Jamali Fashi, convicted of murdering nuclear scientist Masoud Ali-Mohammad in 2010, was hung at the Evin Prison at 7.30 am this morning, Trend reports.

The nuclear specialist was killed by a blast near his house in Tehran in January 2010. The blast was caused by a bomb on a motorbike near his house.

Other versions say that Ali-Mohammadi was killed by foreign intelligence services to slow downnuclear development. Iranian Minister for National Security Heydar Moslahi said that a group of “Israeli spies” involved in the murder was caught.

26-year old Fashi was accused of cooperating with the “Israeli espionage network”, organization of terrorist attacks and drug smuggling.
