Russian parliament to mark 20th anniversary of Ingushetia

The Russian parliament will have an Ingush Festival on May 15-17, marking the 20th anniversary of the republic, Yuga.ru reports.

An exhibition will present socio-economic potential of the republic, innovative and investment projects. A special exposition will be made by the Culture Ministry to demonstrate the local art, Ingush assistant MP of Belan Khamchiyev, Ibragim Kostoyev, said. Achaluki mineral water from springs founded in 1860 will be demonstrated.

The Shadi pavilion will present works of Ingush designer Ahmed Shadiyev, who will also be present.

Members of parliamentary committees for constitutional legislature and state construction, labour, social policy and veterans will meet within the framework of the festival on May 16.
