Georgian president to visit USA

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will visit the USA on May 16, Georgia Online reports.

NATO will hold a summit in Chicago on May 20-21. The Georgian president will visit Los Angeles and New York, and read a public lecture at Princeton University. Saakashvili will make a speech on democratic transformations in Georgia in New York on May 17.

The Georgian president will attend the NATO summit in Chicago. NATO plans meetings for two days, they include meetings in the 28+13, 28+4 and 28+ISAF formats. Georgia plans to attend the summit together with Macedonia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
